Default Professional Style [Nightshift]

We adopted Mindy in August of 2009. This little Westy has become my little buddy. I think she adopted me rather than me adopting her.

What an absolute cutie, and a great shot of her as well. You have chosen well.

Nice shot of her Ed and what a cutie... I'm very happy she was able to adopt you, a great way to give animals the second chance they deserve...

Hi Harv,
Thank you. I saw your post about "Riley". I know how a dog becomes a part of your family. I lost my Cocker Pebbles a couple of years ago. She was the light of my life. Mindy came into our life quite by accident last summer. She has filled a place in my heart. Thanks for your comments.

Hi Norman,
Thanks for your comments. Mindy's owner just didn't understand "Westy's" The lady thought that she was just wild, and could not control her. She is far from wild. She just needed someone to show her some love and affection. I am looking forward to spending the summer with my little buddy at our summer place. I may even get some bird photography in LOL.

Hi Gale,
They sure do steal your heart, and this one is an expert.
BTW, all of my firemen portraits are complete. The fire company has ordered two 36X24 prints that will hang in each of our firehouses. I will never be a portrait photographer though LOL
Thanks for your comments.

Yep, they get hold of our hearts and never let go. It's been two months since we lost him and I still have difficulty talking about my 'buddy'.

Enjoy every day with her as I'm sure she enjoys every day with you.

Hi Harv,
The day after I posted this I had to put our beloved Old English Sheepdog down. She was 13 years old and my wife's dog. It all happened suddenly in the early morning on Friday. I can really relate to what you say. You just never know.
Mindy is a very vibrant little girl with lots of love in her heart, and we are looking forward to many years with her.
